What is it?
The FormDesigner product is arguably the most important technology that SquareGiraffe created. Every GoldMine administrator will at some point have had to tangle with the GoldMine form designer. Once you see the SquareGiraffe FormDesigner in action you will be asking “Why can’t GoldMine design forms like this?”
A FREE, single FormDesigner licence is included in Genesis and GoldSearch add-ons for the base price of £49.95. This enables you to design one form for Genesis and GoldSearch.

The Small Business FormDesigner licence allows you to create up to 5 forms for Genesis or GoldSearch.
Example:
Pam is in an insurance claims business, and purchased 5 Genesis licences, and the FormDesigner Small Business Licence. In her business, users needs to dynamically switch between the designed forms based on the type of claim that is being processed. She designed 3 different forms for Genesis, and named them Personal, Motor Vehicle, and Household. These forms are available to all licenced users, and they can dynamically switch between forms depending on the nature of the incoming call.

This licence allows you to create unlimited forms. Details of designed forms are saved in the user.ini file, giving every person the ability to create and configure their own forms.
Example:
ABC Corporation has 3 offices. Eight forms are designed to represent different products handled by the company. These forms are stored on the GoldMine server where everyone can access them. Three power users have, in addition to the forms on the server, created their own forms and saved these forms to their local hard disks.
Licencing
FormDesigner licences apply to Genesis AND GoldSearch. If you buy a FormDesigner Small Business licence, you can create 5 forms in Genesis, and using the same licence, create 5 forms in Goldsearch. The same applies for the FormDesigner Site Licence.
Your licence will be sent to you by email. The small 1KB licence files need to be copied to the folder where the GMW4/5/6/7.exe file is.
