Background

About 14 years ago, a top-class programmer told me "Good programmers produce bug-free programs quickly". This has been my constant quest ever since!

I have developed software for many different industries, but since 1995 when I encountered GoldMine from FrontRange Solutions for the first time, I have had a strong bias towards Customer Relationship Management (CRM).

When appointed General Manager of a software house a few years ago, one of my first initiatives was to implement GoldMine to replace an existing in-house application. I chose GoldMine over competitor products because of the availability of its rich API (Application Programmers Interface). Within a short time, I had developed several customised GoldMine programs, all designed to automate repetitive tasks or to tailor GoldMine to existing business processes. The results were dramatic in terms of staff productivity and a 100% increase in customer service!

With a good business degree and 14 years experience in sales and software development behind me, I founded SquareGiraffe Limited so that other businesses could benefit from the dramatic results I had experienced. Using advanced object orientated techniques to encapsulate the GoldMine API, I have produced a range of GoldMine add-ons, which are now sold internationally. Seeing potential users at seminars and demos literally 'sitting on the edge of their seats' makes it all worth while.
